UPCOMING GROUPS

What is this group like?

Great question! Something we believe in at Valor is community. Being in community and having support as you navigate similar things is life-giving. Whether the conversation is full of laughter or tears, we believe these moments together help us feel connected and understood.

We also want this space to feel confidential and empathetic, so the clinician leading the group is trained to help facilitate and maintain healthy boundaries during group time.

Whether your a “shy Susan” or a “talkative Tara” we want you to be yourself and come as you are. We respect one another and we value your time and how you feel.

If the group is fairly large, we may split into smaller groups at times to allow for more communication and sharing.

WHY JOIN A GROUP?

Groups can feel intimidating at first, but are often a powerful way to grow. In group, vulnerability grows and the shame decreases. Simply talking about your situation and how it affects you is impactful.

We were created for healthy community. Group work is a reminder that we are not alone, we matter, and whatever our circumstances are we can trust that there are people who actually understand and care.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M A GOOD FIT?

We are more than happy to talk further about your specific situation. We offer a free 15-minute consultation for potential group members.
