Emily Klarke

B.S., Counselor Intern

Emily is originally from central California. Growing up in a firefighter family, Emily gained firsthand insight into trauma, regulation, and the unique challenges and stressors faced not only by first responders but also by their families.

Emily holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from California Baptist University. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in Clinical Counseling at Touro University.

Emily enjoys working with adults, teens, and she is a registered behavioral technician for ABA working with children as young as 2 years old. With adults, Emily uses methods addressing negative thinking and trauma wounds such as CBT. She also incorporates play therapies and mindfulness as well.

Driven by her personal experiences, Emily believes in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can address the unique challenges they face through a holistic and theological perspective.
